You may be lucky using feeders to 10 years, or unlucky within 10 days.
But unless you can quarantine feeders for a few months before using them, they are a time bomb waiting to take out all your stock.
The only time I feed live fish, is if I've bred and raised raised them myself.
There are so many different diseases and parasites with varying incubation periods, treatment vulnerabilities (or lack thereof) and the conditions in which feeders are raised in order to make a small profit margin is to me, not worth the risk.
