i dunno... 4" is pretty small. (4 ft. = 4')
but yea I know what you mean, I haven't seen any 4fters in aquariums.

that's a crazy huge cat in the pic!:WHOA:
lol someone pays attention to what they read

This beauty is not 48", but he's not far off, I'd say around 44"/46", with a head a least 12" wide. Check out the beautiful colour and size of that tail. He in the display tank at Wharf Aquatics, Nottingham, England. One of the top three shops in the UK. It's a magnificent fish in a 6,800 litre tank.

I 've seen the RTC at Wharf Aquatics he is a big mother!! about the same size as the one me Pa had. was around 40" plus!!

What about the guy in Canada with the two Mega tanks in his basement? I believe he's a member here, megatank or something like that is his user name. i think he has at least one that is 4' and over 100 lbs.

Sure, well he is almost 48" now and in their 6,800 litre tank he's got plenty room. It makes you realise if you have kept one (mine was 31.5") that even a HUGE tank by most peoples home standards really does not do them justice at all. Many people complain as they get progressively bigger, especially over two feet, that they don't swim as much but that's usually because the tank is typically twice their length!!! Remember Top Cat (T.C.) from the tv documentary years ago on Channel for (UK)? He was 42" and was sold to a welahty businessman in Jersey who put him in a custom built 16' x 4' x4' (7,300 litre) tank.
