One of my college professors was doing research on wild collected mantis shrimp...i think it was CO2 and O2 absorbtions...pretty kewl. Anyway, he had some Mantis shrimp that were 15" long! HOLY SHIBBY! Those things were massive!! One of his helps got his thumb smashed....:(.....had to get stiches AND get it set...haha..
 
where can you buy mantis shrimp (online) and
where is there some info. on them
since i read all of this i really want one.
they seem so awesome.

and what size tank would i need
i know there are different species
but what size tank woould i need for some of
the most common species.

if you read all of this you would have came across many sites with tons of info on them:grinyes:
 
i was at an aquarium and as i walked in the owners were scooping fish off the floor! there mantis shrimp smashed the glass!
 
I have wanted to get one of these for years, its been kind of a running joke with me and one of my friends for years now so I think I need to experiment with this and get one of my own, but I want to avoid the big ones! 15 inches !!!!!!!!! WO!!!!!
