I kept them years ago. I believe they were sold as Indian. I had a lot less fish knowledge than I do now, and they did very well. I am amazed at how easy they were. They were so much fun to watch hop around and roll over. I gave them crickets as a treat, and they would pounce on them. They ate pretty much whatever I gave them. They did prefer it to move though. Pellets moving on the surface of the water always did well. They would eat ghost shrimp as well. I have considered doing a big tank with them again. With 3D printing you could make an awesome environment with streams running through the tank and having settling pools throughout. A great DIY tank would be a 4'x4' liner with an island and mangroves in the middle but I probably won't ever do that in reality.
I have enjoyed a lot of fish over the years but the fish have enjoyed the most were mudskippers, oscars, and archers.
