Does Anyone Know Anything about Owls?

If I had owls in Long island than by you there are countless . its one bird that prefers nature over structures . While hawks thrive even in NYC.

I used to walk at night and see the owls but silent and look like a kite sitting in the air.

I had an old one stop on my garage roof during bad weather because the house roof overlapped and gave roof cover.
He would be gone next day and once in awhile young one's like yours would stop during snow storms.

How do your horses handle so much snow?

i have them all in the barn.. they have not been out in a week.. just move them from stall until all the stalls are clean... sounds like you have alot of fond memories of LI and ny...
