sunnies are neat fish.if I want to take a pic of mine I need to be across the room. otherwise they all line up at the glass and all I can get is straight on head shots.
watching them suck up a snail, chew for a bit and spit out a little cloud of shell fragments is kind of neat.

Sunfish are under rated in the hobby. Keep it in a room temp setup and feed it a diet similar to cichlids and other big fish...cichlid pellets, silversides, worms, tilapia chunks, etc. If you see a healthy one in an aquarium you'll be hooked!
I had a green sunfish named Zech. He was awesome but very friendly to everything else. He got beat up by my lmb and longear sunfish so I put him with my JD, parrot fish, gar and lima shovelnose. He never bothered them
And he was about twice the size of them(around 7"). I don't have him anymore. Just don't take only my experience from this because I doubt they are normally this friendly.

I caught a few of these in the bayou and they are pretty aggressive, cool looking once they color up and settle in.
I know its illegal to take a fish alive from the wild there, but you can still keep many natives if they're obtained from a legal source.
you have green sunfish in Vietnam? I knew that sunnies were a problem in europe, but didn't know they were a problem in asia.
