They can be kept alone, and they don't pee on you.........

If you done any research you'd find they do pee on you and they can be kept alone but its strongly strongly very strongly advised to keep in atleast pairs. If you join the sugar gliders forum they will tell you the exact same, im a member of it myself

i know someone whos suger glider died becuase it was kept alone too long, we all miss groucho, aptly named he did pee on everyone and growled if you got too close to his waxworm dish. also he loved nectar cubes(fruit nectar frozen into a cube with a waxworm in the middle). they are jsut so cute. i cant wait till i can get one(my dad says i have to be 16:() also is it true that they dont have pouches for their babies? just wonderin since they are marsupials

Dont think they have pouches, not sure on that one though. Yeah, alot of breeders dont say they need to be kept as pairs and that they can actually die from lonelines. If you want a mammal that can be kept themselves i'd say ger a porcupine, they're funky pets.

well where do you live, cause skunks are all the rage over here, i can hook you up with 2 different morphs of striped skunk

I live in Scotland (Britain) There is one exotics specialist who actually contacted me offering me to buy one from them but they asked for £700! They can ram themselves with that! lmao. Private breeders usually sell them for between £250 and £500

Research? Did you miss the post where I kept and bred them for over 5 years? They need stimulation, thats it........Stimulation........I had 15? Males and none, I repeat none, ever peed on me. They stunk, but that was pretty much it.......Females had an odor, but never like the Males......

I currently have 2, the male always pees on you. Sorry but that's what they do. Great pets but they definitely take a lot of work. I strongly recommend checking out glider central before deciding upon anything as they are not a pet to jump into.
