i swim for my high school and this is gonna be my 2nd year swimming (im a sophomore, started last year). does anyone remember their times, and can anyone give me pointers?
i can do a 25free sprint without breathing, and i can swim a 50free breathing every 4 or 6 strokes, and in the 100free i breathe every 4 strokes.beex215;3531802; said:going for air is a waste of time. just hold your breath the entire swim and you will get a better time. also dolphin kick very hard

Hi Plec123, i have been swimming since i was 6, i am now 13, for a 25 Meter lap it took me 16.4secs, i had a friend that did it in 12 seconds or so. Like said before, don't bother going for air, as this slows you down esp. if it is only 1-2 laps. If you are doing a double or more lap than do flip turns, this allows you to quickly flip and kick against the wall to save time and propel yourself the other way.
