I love my arowanas no matter what. I was just wondering if anyone likes there arowanas less because it has drop eye.

It can't really be helped can it? more than 90% adult silvers i have seen have it, sure would be nice if we could find a cure though, and i like my aros no matter what!:D

Yeah, I like em less but what can you do if it happens. That's why I'll never own a silver, less chance of the dreaded DE.............and the fact that they are pansy a** jumpy fish.

i have to say that having owned my fair share of arowanas, i have not, and most likey will not ever own a silver, just beceause of the drop eye issue. :)

however, if i had purchased one and it develpoed the drop eye, i wouldnt care for the fish any less. all the effort and time spend raising the fish to its adult size would make me still care for the animal.

but ill stick with my black for now :P

I had my silver for 5 years before he died and when he got Drop eye I was like WTF. I thought he looked strange I thought he might be in pain. But I learned to live with it, and I did my research on it. I still loved him just as much as he was my Big Monster!

But my new Aro I got I Chose to go with a Black, so I should not have to go through that again.

He still looks good to me... everyones eyes droop eventually...his just a little sooner.Still love him droopy eyes and all.

idc about DE it doesnt bother me, my 20" HS silver doesnt have DE yet,my past silvers with DE i didnt mind
