You can buy them minnows or goldfish
yeah, but I'm not sure how I would go about buying them with my State Credit Card since I wouldnt pay with my own money to keep a fish at work. :) i could catch boat-loads of crayfish easy enough. plus there wasnt anyone out there every day at the time to take care of it.

we do have a pretty large tank at the main office w/ a 12" BGL and a 13" BCR that we have someone come in to take care of. idk why we dont just take care of it :nilly:

I have had one, many moons ago. They grow very fast mine i got as a fingerling which means that it is 4 inches or under. Mine got 18 inch in less than a year. He was released into a farm pond that had a severe bluegill problem needless to say i see him everyonce and a great while in this pond and its very large over 4 feet and cannot be caught by anyone who fishes that pond. So he has a home for life it would be about 10 years old now.

That must be so cool seeing this 4 foot+ monster in this little pond. i take it there is not a bluegill problem in this pond any longer?

I've seen and caught some pickeral over 3 feet. I had three northern pike in my fish tank. They actually got along with my cichlids. 1 died and I let the other 2 go because I couldn't buy feeders every week and quarantine them.

FYI letting Pike (or any fish) go into the wild isn't good and certainly your state has laws against it. Even if you kept the pike with only natives, you could pass disease along and since you kept your fish with Cichlids, who knows what they picked up. Lots other reasons not to release fish. Sorry to be the Nazi but it had to be said.

mine are now both 9inchs and there in a 100gallon tub. very neat fish when they get a lil biger.

I agree, this is very important! And I'm glad you where the Nazi so i did'nt have to.
