Whether my own circumstances are lucky or unlucky, I believe it does. I'm destined to....*voice trails away*
No. I've been around too long to believe that anymore. Seen to many things about to become purposeful just fizzle at the last minute. And no, there were no hidden purposes fulfilled in the mean time. Just wasted juice. And no, wasting that juice was not a useful purpose. This thread is going to be a doozy.

no, there's too many horrible things that happen in this world. How do you explain to someone who's a victim of rape, cancer, terminal illness, murder that it happened to them for a reason? Oh it was destined for that to happen to you!
The human mind is wired to find truth in anything. It's how we process the unknown Finding truth is just how we comfort our subconscious from our fear of the unknown. If I can find the case study on this phenomenon I will post it. It's in one of my psych books....
