Well said Pharaoh...

Do you have a Time Out tank next to your QT?

let the beaten one heal up, then add it back with a few others during a waterchange.. it would help to rearrange rock and plants, and build some visual barriers so that the dominant fish's mindset will be "out of sight, out of mind.." i have added new fish of the same size during waterchanges when everyone is freaked out anyways and redid the rockwork and never had any problems..

dont you just enjoy screwing with everyone...

but it is a good way to do it... I add a new fish and then feed the tank... (add at feeding time)

lol Mike-i figure fish are a little simple minded, and if you distract them they wont notice lol.. sortof like a 5 yr old..

Nope, no Time Out tank. They all know that if they don't behave I'll give them a good spanking. You know, Give them something to cry about. :D

Visual barriers? How do you mean?

They are referring to thinds like plants and rocks that break up the visible line of sight across the tank. Like making a wall so they can't see the other side of the tank. The whole out of sight, out of mind thing.

Oh,so leaving my setup the way it is but also build a rock barrier in the middle of the tank deviding it into two sides would be the idea then, right?

i do not have any fighting going on...lots of chasing here and there...but so far no real aggression... every once in awhile i notice they may get somewhat nasty towards one... and then it seems to subside.. i have alot of males... some females.. but anyway i think you need more fish... most of the time with africans if there is alot of action...no one fish gets singled out.. too many distractions..i believe this is what is working for me..
