There are basically two option to you problem... more places to hide or more fish.

let the beaten one heal up, then add it back with a few others during a waterchange.. it would help to rearrange rock and plants, and build some visual barriers so that the dominant fish's mindset will be "out of sight, out of mind.." i have added new fish of the same size during waterchanges when everyone is freaked out anyways and redid the rockwork and never had any problems..

This is exactly how I do it too!!! Works great!!

lol Bre..

Patrick-what i meant was-sit and watch that aggressive one. i have a blueberry OB that lives on the left side of my 180, she will come out of her rock, and plow full speed across the tank to go chase someone on that right side.. if i was really worried, i would build tall rockwork right across the middle just so she cant go barreling through the tank- break up that fishs' line of sight..

africans do fight-and like Liz said-its mostly harmless. i see a few of mine lip lock and fight, but no one gets hurt-and my bumblebee, she will go break it up (shes a lover, not a fighter lol). more fish will help spread that aggression so that your alpha wont target one or two fish--everyone gets a beatdown evenly lol

Yes,I fgured out what you were saying Mel.;) It just took a few thoughts to get there.:D I will change my rock work up so that there are two sides. That way the aggressors will have to wiggle through the rock work in order to see the weak ones on the other side. And I just added two more albino zebras to the mix, yay! :)
