thats is just it, all in the title, does the weight of the fish increase the weight of the aquarium or do they simply displace enough water to counter act them minus there bladder? is there equally no answer

If you had your aquarium + contents on a scale and the weight shown was 240 lb, and then you added a 1 lb fish, the scale would then read 241 lb,. Buoyancy is an 'internal' force between the fish and the water and has nothiing to do with the pull of gravity (ie. weight) externally on the whole works.
Not the correct argument for this technically.
Tank filled with water to the brim, put the fish in and it spills some water. Now you have a fish, and a little less water. Figuring out if the water displaced and spilled on the floor with the now fish in it is where I don't know the weight. Depends on the density of the fish and displaced water. I can imagine that the fish being added is going to be equal or slightly less because the fish will not weigh as much as an exact replica of the fish made of pure water.
As said in a prior post too, if your tank doesn't over flow and you add any weight to it, the tank weighs more.
nice information not sure yet, it would seem to me that the fish would almost displace enough water to make up to its size. water being more dence then fish?
Birds are heavier than air. So if they stop flapping their wings they fall to the ground. If your fish stop swimming do they float to the top or sink to the bottom? We had this debate one time at work while I was building my tank. They could not understand that I do not fill my tanks to the level that if I put in a fish I need to take water out. Adding fish does not add any weight to the tank. unless you have really big fish and your tank is only half full and the fish is in a bag with 5 gallons of water. That gets dumped in the tank. What adds weight to the tank is gravel. When people ask me how heavy my fish tank is I tell them 10 pounds per gallon.
