Does this happen to You with Internet Explorer?

be warned if they determine its a software problem HP, aka Compaq, suddenly become very unhelpful and couldnt care less about your problem.

also has anyone mentioned simple things like defrag your HDD and clear temp internet files/redundant files and do a registry fix with CCleaner.
 
i did all that..defrag, disk cleanup etc and also just ran defender scan again.. it does not happen all the time.. just once in awhile.. more before i upgraded to explorer 8 .. but still enough that i am not at peak of perfection...lol... i like everything running smooth on pc.. i just joined vista forum... haha..that should be a fun forum... thanks i will..thats why before i call HP i like to know what my problem is..so they don't snowball me too much... lol thanks again
 
if the ram was getting full wouldnt vista switch to the page file(aka fake ram on the HDD)? does this happen a while after the computer has been turned on
btw to check if the ram is/is getting full you should get the windows sidebar gadget that looks like 2 spedometers, it monitors your ram usage in % (to get it just press + at the top of the sidebar and double click it)

yes it happens after it is on awhile.. are you talking about the cpu meter.. i have it ..never thought to check it..thanks

If you could go to dos and format c it will solve the internet issues I am totally sure you will have no further issues with your browser shutting down on you

yes so when it crashes look at the right needle on the meter and if its near 100 then you kno your problem, else its something else

okay thanks.. the only problem is you don't see the meter unless your on home page..on desk top.. if it happens in yahoo or mfk your not going to see it..:nilly:

It seems to jump from 3% to 63%.... and very fast changing.. is that normal..
