I do it the other way around. I feed fish food to my dogs and cats....lol j/k.

My dog loves fish food - course she's a lab so that's not saying much as she has eaten all sorts of fun stuff (my couch, shoes, rope, etc.). And my cats like to lick my fingers after I feed flake.

My dog will eat anything that hits the floor including fish food. I have to keep the lids tight on fish food containers or my cat can open them and eat it up.

pacu do great on dog food. catfish don't, cichlids don't. DF also will skank out the water really fast. Bulk food is the way to go if at all possible

I recently lost a 5" frontosa. It had to of jumped ship with no signs of it. I think our dog enjoyed a fishy snack.

Actually no, they do not.

No fish can properly assimilate the high levels of fatty acids found in dog, or cat food. The LFS in NB feeds cat food because he's either a moron, or he thinks that he's saving money. I'm guessing that it's the former.

Read the link that I posted in my initial comment in this thread.

wow people...I think the OPs question has been asnswred ..they agreed with you all....why is this thread still going?

Fish are fish in the same way mammals are mammals, birds are birds, lizards are lizards, etc. I'm a mammal and I eat other mammals all the time. Eating animals of the same class isn't cannibalism.

It was meant to be a joke...

I do that too, my dog would twitch his cute nose and sniff until he reach the fish food and nudge me to open and give him some.
Seems as though the krill smell turns him on...
