wow that puppy is lucky you found her..

I think she is too, she'd been there for so long.. they have alot of beautiful pits in there,some of them have deffinetly been abused, there is one with a obviously had his ears cropped at home, and he has scars everywhere, but he also has scars and a pattern on his face that suggests he'd been a bait dog who's mouth has been taped shut.
And he looks like he'd be agressive, but he's such a sweetie, and he likes dogs, he got loose while we had Tink out and they were being very friendly... you'd expect him to be scared of dogs at least.. amazing how trusting they are.

They had a very nice dobi pup there too, but it was gone only a day after it was up for adoption...

well i think it is terrific that you found each other and cannot wait to hear how she is doing once she is home and settled in..and of course i give you my best wishes that all will turn out perfect.

Yep

We got her home and had a bit of trouble, but nothing serious;
our old female shepherd has decided that se must protect us from this new dog, and attempted to bite her quite a few times, but not a constant attack, so we're keeping them on very short leashed visits until Dutch decides Tink is ok.
And the cat... Tink happily went over to see him and got a face full of claws.. but she's only got 1-2 tiny holes.
And her reaction to these attacks was running behind us and still trying to be friends with whoever attacked her.. she jumped in my mom's lap when the cat got her.
My pom-shih-tzu mix rules the house here.. but she got over herself pretty fast and seems to have realized that the puppy isn't a threat.
Ziggy, our schnauzer lunged at her at first but even after that she was bouncing around trying to play and he seems to like her.

I'm sure everything will be fine after a while=)

Tink is in her big crate resting behind me(she's still a little weird from surgery yesterday), and Sparkles(little miss attitude) is sitting beside the crate.

I have one pic for now.. I'm sure I'll have plenty soon
(as you can see from the pic.. she's pretty nervous, but is getting over her fear quickly)

Good for you...I always like to see people adopting rather than encouraging these "puppy mill" operations.

Not sure.. the owners said she was a pure pit.. if she is then she's inbred lol her back end is higher than the front and she runs lop-sided..plus her ears.. lol
