Dolphin Species Goes Extinct Due to Humans

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I doubt there are none left, I mean the ocean is what like 90% of the world or something....

Well considering that the species -was functionally extinct in 1999(with only about 13 animals alive at the time), it's quite possible that in just 7 years the whole species is completely wiped out.

Also this was a River species - not an ocean going species. Which means it likely had a smaller population to start with than most ocean going dolphin species of equal size.

Poor animal... I burst into tears when I first heard about this news. I'm so sorry, really sorry!!As a Chinese I feel guilty...if only the people of my country were more educated and taught to preserve the environment. I have come to realize that education is REALLY IMPORTANT. Again...sorry guys...

It's not the Chineese peoples fault it's humans in general. We are all (Not me or you, just in general) part of the problem.

But at least your country limits the amount of children you can have. That is a step in the right direction IMHO. Less people = Less impact on earth.

Agreed, China's making progress in lots of ways and HOPEFULLY less and less animals will become extinct.

Can't clone what you can't find. I don't think any remains were found.

Just wondering, but why is this in the sharks and rays section?
