Did you all see these on Amazon Abyss? They were being fed chopped up Prochilodus! :eek:
 
Heheheee... I saw a film of natives giving chopped Fei Feng to them. They're local fish, used for food purposes. Their fat is used heavily in local gastronomy. The same goes for arowanas, arapaima, RTC, payaras, fancy plecos and so on. :D

They are curious creatures they are, being freshwater dolphins. I was able to see some while visiting Venezuela. They had a few of them at the public aquarium in Valencia including a newborn, adorable lil fella! According to the keepers, they were the only folks in the world that have been able to breed them in captivity.

But I wouldn't advise keeping one at home!
 
well it had to adapt to freshwater somehow I guess that is how it did it.
