Donating Monster Fish to Belle Isle Aquarium

Have you Considered selling the tank with him? My new house has the space for him, but I'm out of tank space at the moment.
See that's the thing... I've already made arrangements to sell the tank to someone, but he is buying it for his Dovii, and wants to keep him alone (smart choice). So I'll try contacting Belle Isle about it but otherwise I am selling him/putting him up for adoption on his own.

Unfortunately he has likely used prime or another dechlorinator most of which warn against using on fish meant for consumption.
As a matter of fact, I've never really used dechlorinator that much. I feel like the more product I put in the water, the unhealthier my fish get :/ And having a small amount of chlorine in the water never seems to bother them.

From what I've read, if they didn't put this warning on it they would need FDA approval of their product, which is really an unnecessary hassle since most people don't eat their pets. :P

There is way more harmful crap in lakes rivers and oceans than dechlorinator, just saying. Now if you used certain medications then I'd probably advise against eating your fish.
