There is way more harmful crap in lakes rivers and oceans than dechlorinator, just saying. Now if you used certain medications then I'd probably advise against eating your fish.

Too bad you had to down size, I hope the aquarium can take that fish. Like some said post it on the mfk. Seems like you gave him a good and proper home when you had him, and it would appear some of the posters don't know what it means to down size.

He never gave it more than a temporary home, it was too small. I'm downdizing now but not taking away from space to hold all my aquariums. It just depends on where your priorities are. The dog pound is a great example of that.
