Hope it warms up soon there Neil! Have to say though (except for work 4-6 times a month), I haven't been to the beach in about 5 years even though it's about 900 meters from my house (darn fish tanks taking up all my spare time lol, prepping now for the arrival of a recently completed 325 tomorrow).

I was born in the tropics, grew up in New England, spent 5 years on Kauai after school, then moved back to New England. Pretty much everyone thinks I'm nuts for moving back, but I've been back for nearly 20yr, and truly enjoy the change in season.

Only the human kind. One of the reason i love going into the bush is to get away from [most]people. I'm actually not antisocial, but as I'm getting older, my tolerance of people is lessening.
Those camping pics looks great! I don't really enjoy camping/hiking in the heat. Mostly it's all those pesky bugs that the warm season brings, and I hate having to wear bug spray. That's why I completely relish the fall and winter seasons.
