Don't buy ABS pipe

I bought a 4" diameter piece of ABS pipe for my RCK to hang out in, and it doesn't sink, just floats. Just wanted people looking for cheap caves to know.

that's what ceramic or porcelain tile and silicone is for. fasten the pipe to a 8"x8" tile, let the silicone cure for a few days till it stops making fumes. and then drop it into the tank and cover the tile with whatever substrate you have in the tank.

I had the same problem before. I didn't know they wouldn't sink and I wanted a black pipe. I just threw a good size rock in the center to help it sink

sounds like my only option. I'm to lazy to glue something to it lol.

hehehe... I always buy the white pipes..I suppose a cheap fix would to be use a black paint in the white pipe thats fish safe.

just hold down the pvc for 30 seconds or so. it should eventually sink.

ABS and PVC are different. ABS floats...PVC sinks.

I don't know, I have 2 tube of abs in my tank and they do not float
