Don't buy ABS pipe

I just toss a few rocks on the ABS, hides the pipe too so my tank doesn't lose the 'natural' look I have going.

I covered my ABS pipe in silicone then dipped it in my aquarium sand/gravel to cover it up naturally... looked good and made sure it was heavy enough to stay in place

Please do not use the hot glue idea............you said you already did this? Even if you let the glue from a hot glue gun cure for a few day, like we do with the silicone, ***the hot glue will eventually dissolve ! I have tried this numerous times with assrt'd types of hot glue. Some glues start to dissolve in a few days, some took a few weeks. If you want your pets to live, please don't use hot glue !

Good to know, I have noticed it doesn't hold well in water.

thanks, just makle sure it cures properly (check the silicone glue instructions for thre proper curing time)
