Don't buy ABS pipe

alot of abs pipe is cellualar core which means it is fillied with lilttle air bubbles thats why it wont sink

The fittings do, the pipe doesn't!! Show me a sunk four inch pipe without any thing added to it and you will be my hero.

fittings are solid pipe is cellular core thats why fittings sink pipe doesnt

Funny you say that. I Though so too, but after two weeks of floating the RCK never went in.

I covered my ABS pipe in silicone then dipped it in my aquarium sand/gravel to cover it up naturally... looked good and made sure it was heavy enough to stay in place

Please do not use the hot glue idea............you said you already did this? Even if you let the glue from a hot glue gun cure for a few day, like we do with the silicone, ***the hot glue will eventually dissolve ! I have tried this numerous times with assrt'd types of hot glue. Some glues start to dissolve in a few days, some took a few weeks. If you want your pets to live, please don't use hot glue !
