I have used flash only for the last picture
the water temperature is around 26 degrees C
I only feed it Hikari Cichlid Gold coz i have found nothing better than that in my country,
not even NLS, Grand Sumo, Ching Mix, Okiko.
any ideas on what diet would be best for it

Lots of Fish food are good enough since long ago. It's mostly the genes of your fish and how well it's taken care of.
But research the Synspilum and Trimac diet and put it together for this guy..
He's turning out really pretty in the video. Like a dull Rainbow. I think Hikari is good enough or perfect for your fish to grow up on.
