a good chance tht yours might be a female based on the size of the kok, but i dont see any spots on the dorsal fin(probably a male). venting should do the job. :thumbsup:

i only feed her/him Hikari and from time to time i feed some dried shrimps
as i said there is no specialized food for FH here in my country and i can't buy anything online either cos the law prevents me from doing so
if i want to order live fish or any fish product online i need to have an import permit which will cost me around $850 every year!!!

ohh, feel sory for you man. but u have lights on at night right? those attract nightcrawlers. sumtimes, if i found any nightcrawlers tht are big enough for my fish and looks edible, i'd give it to them. hahhah, but i rarely found one, so, i feed my cichlid earthworms sumtimes. it works for me.

yeah i have lights on at night...
will try to look for some nightcrawlers
 
He was like 2 inches when I bought him. I knew he didn't look like a red devil, but I was curious as to what he would look like. Some of the pictures are from when he was smaller. The top one is probably the most recent. I thought he might be a barred midad/red devil or some kind of flowerhorn mix. Still not sure. He is about 6.5 inches

well am no expert in fish id but i'd say he looks like a vieja cross of some kind
