here are some recent pics
why is there no development at all om its coloration?
i've been using only Hikari Cichlid Gold and from time to time some dried shrimps

as they said it's a classic kamfa. maybe it's suppose to look like tht, and i see some progress on it's kok.

oh yeah, i forgot to tell u that, the gravel and substrate also affects its colors. hahah yeaahh, the color's starting to show. your's looks like a female though.

and today i started feeding with Hikari Bio Gold +
hope to get some promising results soon

Of course the color has a lot to do with the genetics. BTW awesome fish! I love unique ones that don't seem to fit a certain category humans are always trying to place

i haven't seen the parents either but it was sold as a red terror from the LFS and clearly that is the not the real deal
thanks to all the experts out here, i came to know that it was actually a classic kamfa
