I have heard of cyanide catching. It lowers the fish's life expectancy too. That's why I don't support it
perhaps the fact that I'm a vegan makes me bias in this situation, I just created this post because I think that people who are misinformed need to get a life. The fish I keep, I hand select and care for. This'll probably piss some people off, but all you giga owners, what the **** are you gonna do when the s.o.b. gets fully grown? I understand it takes many years, but unless you release it into your town's local lake, where is it gonna go? I think a true MFK should have respect for their monsters and their quality of life.
Many people here end up giving their fish pets to local aquariums, happens a lot, especially with catfish. Also we got couple of members that got 15,000+ gallon tanks and ponds. Not all but a few, then again not all of us got Arapaima - just a few.pufferfish123 said:

What does being vegan have to do with a fish outgrowing a tank? That seems really f*c*ing random. Personally I dont care to hear about it. when i read one of CM's threads about eating his fish I dont announce that I kill fuzzy cows while staring into their big brown eyes.
