Kumusta Kababayan? Do you use anything to calm aro down before coaxing it to get into bag planning to move my Aro in his new tank in 2 months

make sure you lower the water, it lessen the chance of it jumping out. i would double bag, before lifting it out of the tank cuz if it jumps while the bag is streched it breaks easily. happened to me, lucky my fish didnt end up on the floor however i got a face full of water

Have fun with that, all this will do is give you a big pain in the ass and most likely an aro on the floor...
^-^ when he is about 15-20 inches. iam sure he should be use to the enviroment enough and not so wild.

Never use net to catch aro, they tend to break their finnages when they struggle in there. Always use a decent big enough plastic bag to bag them out of the water and do transfer.

Unless you can reduce like 2 ft of water, this will NOT make it harder for it to jump outside your tank lol.

you got it! i lower about 2 foot of water. what are you laughing about??? of course its harder to jump over a 24" lip over the tank compared to a 4 "

my 18" aro jumped when i was bagging it to transfer, it didnt leave the tank. i'm sure if the tank was full it'd be on the floor.
