^LOL Navy, why get electrocuted twice?
I've been shocked by the xmas lights B4. 2ice. Both times were by accident

Regular powerstrips don't seem to trip unless they're hit by lightening :-/
I got a bunch of GFCI powerstrips from Home Depot and those DO work perfect.

who's that me or qtrhorse89. I did it twice just because its one of those akward feeling's that you just wanted to feel again. ??? I dont know im just weird like that. He did it on accident.

Hehe I'm a she. :)

But yeah it was totally on accident. lol Once was enough for me thank you. I'll keep the salt water in mind, I don't have any marine tanks.....yet. The dog faced puffers they always have at the lfs though keep giving me the please take me home with you look.

And TwistedPenguin thanks for the tip I'll try to hit the local Home Depot and pick up the appropriate power strips. I don't even wanna know what would have happened if I hadn't been there and it sparked a fire.

ive dropped my light fixture in the tank while drunk and reached in after it. Didnt get hit, but thought to myself, " damn that was dumb"

yep, deffinately like grabbing a elecrtified horse fence, but not as bad as grabbing a bison fence. and yeah after a few fun shocks I sucked it up and went to the best buy and invested in some 40$ "super nifty dandy" power strips from the cpu department. they have the whole package, and alot cheaper then the "special" aquarium ones. though automatic timers built in would be nice for all my tank lights... 120$ isn't worth the 3 mins a day it takes for me to manually do that one. =)

He'd have 7 lives left if he was a cat (not that I believe in this seriously). "Electrocuted" means death by shock.:nilly:
