Dorado and odoes?

if you do decide to go for Golden Wolves let me know if the supplier has any left lol I've been hunting for that fish since getting into the hobby!

I think Odoe and Golds would work out well until the Odoe got big enough to eat them, because it will get there in an appropriate sized tank

I second this. With time, space, clean water and a little bit of luck, there's no reason why you couldn't get a dorado to 3'. They certainly have the genetic potential to do it. To give you an idea what they're capable of, check out the almost 5', 85 pound world record:

You think an Odoe is going to get big enough to eat gold wolves? Am I missing something? Thought they got the same size?

Doesn't Shark Aquarium have Gold Wolves on a regular basis?
 
I've seen Odoes at over 20 inches and the largest Golden I've seen was about 8 inches so I would imagine it could happen, does he ship to the US?

I believe the average odoe gets around 14 to 16 inches in aquariums although larger can be found. The gold wolves average around 10 inches in aquariums. The wolves will get a good girth around them too. You can keep them together. I have kept them both together in the past. The wolves will swim around a lot more compared to other wolves. Need to keep them all fed. Yes, shark aquarium usually carries them. I bought them from there previously.

I've bought gold wolves from sharl aquarium in the past. He's located in the us.
