Dovii bite

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
PaleAle, big tanks are easier by a long shot. The balance is easier to maintain and once it's cycled it seems to maintain equilibrium easier and for longer stretches.
Thanks mate but honestly I don't even bother with water testing, I'm a big believer in 50% water changes on a weekly basis & it has served me well. In saying that, maybe my attitude will have to change with a mini swimming pool in my garage, water is a precious these days & so is my water bill.

And yes! It literally was 3/4 of a garbage can full of sand. One of those brute ones.
that's hilarious lol
I woulda loved to get 30 tall.
I just moved the larger RTM, now the Dovii have more space and the smaller RTM can grow-out a bit. This evil little monster is only 3.5" and he's ready for the big boys, I think. Sucker wouldn't come out - they start to recognize the net and my GREEN shirt of the same shade didn't help, I had to lure him out w/ frozen bloodworms :) He's already beat up 2 Jags and now the other RTM.....Both these are way worse than any Jaguar I ever owned

When he gets to 5"-8" inches he is gonna start clipping your other fish off.. My 5" dovii just whacked my pleco.. Most dovii end up by themselves when the mature..

Was I the only one hoping to find a picture of a mangled finger?
