For this species, probably not. In commercial aquaculture species there should be scores of papers out there if one wants to look. Also, some species have proven to show better growth when feeding twice a day (morning/evening), others when fed 3 times a day, some species are more temp sensitive, others not, etc-etc. Lots of variables to consider if one wants to truly attempt to maximize growth. Personally I don't think that maximizing growth is the be all to end all, outside of commercial facilities,
healthy growth should be the real standard that everyone should try to achieve. In that sense, feeding food that a fish can easily take in and swallow with little chewing is most ideal.
