Dovii or Umbee?

i would say umbee more vibrant color i like the speckles on the face

In the SoCal "hotbed" you hardly ever see Dovii and never see Umbee. Actually, some of the only Dovii I have ever seen are the ones I traded in for credit.

Thankyou all for the replies, so it seems that Umbee are more considered as a more personable fish, and dovii are more aggressive and predatory looking (in most peoples' opinions so far)?

I got a f1 male and a wild female umbee they are worth keeping I tell ya. But I would agree with others u can't go wrong with either...

any of the many umbee fans here near dc i got a good looking young male umbee coloring up nice with long trailors that extend all the way to the tip of his tail that ive been trying to sell for months. hes about 6 inches now maybee a little more.
