dovii pair in 75

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
This thread is ridiculous.

Of course a 75g is way too small for a Dovii pair and even a single Dovii.

A single Dovii female needs at least 100 gallons, a male more.

Feel free to ignore this post :grinno:

:irked: this whole thread was just a idea,or thought.why do u take it so serious.and yes i do have a 150 gallon.

Then why don't you use it for your dovii then? A breeding pair of "reddevils" as you call them would be a lot better than dovii in a 75.

We have a pair of Dovii in a 75 , they are samll now 4 maybe 5 inches but thats not going to be their home for life. We are getting a 210 this spring , or maybe sooner depending on the weather not to thrilled about picking up a new tank with it being so cold .Have already paid half the $ for it so they would hold it for us.

thats gonna be an aswome tank! make sure to have a divider by the tank incase they start to fight

You know what? I felt guilty for having my 13" male Midas in a 75gal tank, because the tank looked way too small for him. So even if a female dovii only got to 15" (which isn't a guarantee, they can get bigger), then yes, I agree that a 75gal simply isn't big enough.
