If that is your goal then you are on the wrong site. We are all here because we enjoy keeping fish and keeping them as happy and healthy as we can, not to buy fish with intentions of them getting killed.
+1!!!!

I just bought a buddha cichlid butifoferi and was wondering if it will hurt my dovii there about the same size?

one will end up hurt

Eventually the dovii or the butti will be the only thing in there. Personally, I don't even like to think my dithers are expendable, let a lone a dovii, butti or the rest of your fish.

I removed all the community fish and traded them in for some african cichlids. The tank is a 75gallon and it now has 3 africans 2-3in. and the dovii 2in. will this be a better mix than I had before?

Youve gotten 38 replies to your question and a lot of good advice. If none of this makes sense to you and you dont realize where you are headed with a dovii in a 75 gallon tank & tankmates, by all means, use the search function located on the left hand side of the forum towards the top (under where your private messages etc are.) Search for "dovii tankmates" "dovii tank size" "dovii" "killer dovii" "crazy dovii" and any other combo of words with dovii in it.

In reference to your question about keeping it with the africans you just got, no. The dovii will more than likely outgrow the africans in the next few months and then let them know where they stand shortly there after.

There is TONS of info on MFK relating to dovii (probably more than any other fish), all you have to do is search for it.

Good Luck.
