Im running dual 24" calibrated Apple monitors on a G5 w/dual 6-Core Intel Xeon “Westmere” processors, 2 TeraBytes of HD and 32 Gb RAM...not a tech issue on my side.
My guess is you dont have your monitor calibrated to a normal setting and have your brightness & contrast WAY up
Here it is with the brightness & colors jacked enough to at least see its bodyshape better.
Without seeing the fins, Id guess male on the body shape alone. Ive never had a female that was that high bodied. Mine were always lower profiled and sleeker looking, like in the pic below yours.

Dam, I guess not. Anyway I already know what the sex is I just wanted to see what people on here would say because I know I read a lot on here about the different ways people sex young Dovii. If this picture would show up like it did on my non calibrated monitor I was going to see what many of you thought. I think the way you go about it using the body shape and build is one of the better ways and I use this method based on pics or video as there spotting and coloring can wash out making it difficult to sex based just on those two things when young. The pic of mine you put up is pretty much the way it showed up on the computer I was on when I posted it....not as blurry. The fins I don't think would give it away at this size....unless you are going by the shape? I'll post some pics later today. Just messing around with you anyway.

The only reason I asked about the fins is because IME, if the dorsal, anal and tail (unpaired fins, like balton777 said) have spotting, its usually a male as well and I cant see any spotting because the fins are clamped, not protruding and blurry. Youre right though about those being washed out sometimes, especially if stressed or hiding.
