Trust me, I don't need another big tank. My garage has close to 2000 gallons of water. With a wife, two kids, 3 jobs and two dogs, I honestly don't know how I manage

Hard to catch too. I caught a dozen maculicauda's before I cought one Dovii. Damn Caymans were on the lookout too

lol, yeah well I know the trip was fun, I plan on going to the DR to get a strain of the Black Nasty, My buddy has a F&W licsence so hopefully that will go through around Feb

The Nic Dovii with the nuchal hump is F1 (parents from Rapps). The CR Dovii, I personally collected last year (Wilc Caught).

I eventually would only have tank space for one, which one would you keep? Would you base it on looks and personality or sentimental attachment (like a souvenir)?

For Me. I keep it both that a awesome fish.

I'd keep both its hard to get rid of an animal you invested so much time in. they are both special you can't lose in the end.

Thanks guys. I was looking at the two side by side and the CR is actually closer to 12" and is thicker than the Nic.
