I agree dont trade or sell without telling the buyer what they are dealing with. That said, Im not a hybrid fan per say . But I would love to see how these turn out. If it does work out please keep us posted.

Is there anything I could do to increase the chances or should I interact with them as little as possible and let them do there thing?

I believe many folks do a large, cold water change in order to induce spawning. I'm not sure if the Queen Rose will react as it's never been in nature but it could be in it's genetics.

Interesting pair.

Careful with a large, cold water change...you may risk giving the fishes ich with drastic temperature changes.

Thanks, then i might just do a water change on monday and lower the temperature on the heater. I had been under the impression that i should be raising the temp little by little because i believe they normally spawn during spring when temp is rising

water change and increase feeding, colder water for changes do them dailey and if they are paired up and digging you'll have them lay in no time, they should be fertile as he is a pure male and usually female hybrids are fertile yes, this should produce viable offspring as long as the male does he job. Parenting skills can vary a lot, you may want to raise them yourself if you have time (or a few of them) this is a very cool breeding if you got dovoii looks with that rose queen color you could have a bad ass fish! good luck keep us posted. Personally i keep the water very warm, just use the water changes each day , and the heat with some salt with help keep away ich etc good luck :)

Im curious to see what these look like if they do spawn. Just to clarify for you the cold water they refer to is after draining water, refill with water colder then the tank water. It basically makes fish think its rain water, to simulate spring showers. Keep the heater and temps normal or even a couple degrees warmer then you normally would inside the tank.
