I got to know Dr. Kevorkian a little bit through letters sent to me by my father in-law. My father in-law was seving time in the cell next to Dr. Death. "He is a very interesting man" , my father in-law said in one of his letters. "Very smart, and very friendly dispite the atmosphere here in prison" he said.."He always asked when he would be able to meet my mother"...

Good bye Jack,

I'm a bit on the fence with this guy

Seems like a nice guy and to many what he did was wrong but at the same time, some consider him a hero to those he helped commit suicide.

When a Dr tells you, sorry there's nothing we can do for you but we can give you this to help ease the pain. Then you get shot up so much you are hardly there anymore until you slowly end up dying one day.

if i'm the one with pancreatic cancer and i'm gonna die anyways, who's to tell me not to get it over with and suffer thru it until i die

one of my bros father in law passed from pancreatic cancer and it is one of the most brutal cancers if not the most brutal. you suffer the whole time before you die. he was shot up with morph the whole time, he was long gone before he finally passed

There was a pretty good movie about him that came out about a year ago and Al Pacino starred as the Doc.I think it was an HBO film.

My friend just passed from pancreatic cancer. Saw her deteriorate over four years. Still, I think many of his patients were sick and tired of it, and asked for the treatment willingly, but its one of those things where you can't prove whether it was right or wrong, because there are always two sides to the story, and one of the sides is gone

4 years? wow, my bros father in law didn't make it passed a few months

and yea, the people he helped do it asked for it apparently

I wonder if the thought ever occured to him to use his machine on himself.
