My father in-law said he was the nicest guy. He liked conversation and always tried to help with advice and support... My father in-law also said that the media painted a nasty picture of him.."Talk to the man for a little while and you feel like you've known the man your whole life"..he said in one of his letters.

We are nicer to our pets when one of them has an incurrable desease, we put them to sleep. I have never met someone who wouldn't do this for their cat or dog. If the person is of sound mind then it should be up to them, if that is how they wish to go then so be it. I would never try to take such a dificult decision away from a person and their family simply because I wouldn't want them taking that away from me and my family. Who are we to judge other peoples decisions in a matter like this?

I will take on the role of the Devil's Advocate. Im not judging Kevorkian, but what about his violation of the Hippocratic oath? That in itself allows for his license to be revoked.

if i was suffering with alzheimers... forgetting everything i've ever done in my life, i'd rather die happy and with great memories then die not remembering anything you've done, your kids names, even how to swallow. thats my two cents

we just had an assisted suicide law passed in Washington ...I think its about time we let people take there own lives...and deaths in to there own hands...who is a Doctor or any one else to tell someone they HAVE to live..and suffer threw something that is killing them.

I watched my aunt suffer threw 12 yeas of cancer that spread from her breast to her liver..to every thing and finely her brain...she died screaming in pain literally, her children could here her from the waiting room. People should be able to chose when they go.
