Absolutely stunning tank! your goby is insane looking, the angels are soo big..im jealous..LOL :D

The angels are nice, but all but 2 of them are only half grown. There are 8 of them right, and there are 2 confirmed mating pairs. I've always had success with angels pairing up in this tank, I guess it really simulates their SA environment or something.

pH, according to my handy dandy electronic pH meter, is reading at 5.13 right now. That's about average. It'll bounce back up close to 7 after a wc, but usually it hovers between 5 and 5.5. I've seen it down as far as 4.5, and the fish were still thriving and breeding on a regular basis.

sweet tank! looks better than ita couple weeks ago for some reason lol...

that goby is the biggest ive ever seen!

has the sev bothered the ram pair yet, or is everyone behaving?

Everybody gets along fine, except for 2 of my young eartheaters. One likes to chase the other around the tank, but no damage done. Just a little spirited chasing. The severum is VERY well behaved, and a little piggy to boot.

They aren't the most active fish during the day, but they do come out in the open, especially when you're feeding. They are a more nocturnal species. I guess over time, because I only feed with the lights on, mine has become much more comfortable with light. He's got a pvc pipe in there to hide in, but it's only about 12" long, so he can't completely hide anymore. It doesn't seem to bother him, as he only spends about 1/3-1/2 his time in the tube. The rest is out moving around, or swimming up towards the surface.

He's been in fresh his whole life. Never had a taste of brackish. I don't know if I've ever even added any salt to a tank he's been in.

Thats awesome man how long have you had him?

I had one for a couple years. The first year was in fresh and everyone kept telling me how they were brackish. So i slowly converted his tank over to brackish (SG 1.01). And he lived about 6 more months and then stopped eating and died. Mine was only around 12-13".
