Currently I am stuck in NJ till I am all done with my degrees, but I am looking to get out as soon as I am done and I've always loved areas that get severe winters and the pacific northwest. I have an Uncle in the Coos Bay area in OR and I love it out there. So while I've been thinking about all this I'm curious as to where everyone else's dream place to live is and why? Pictures would also be awesome!

I'm happy where we live--extreme NW California.

We do not have severe winters, but every few years, there'll will be a little snow fall, which is always a photo op.

Even the fall poison oak in our back yard is beautiful here :)

Hawaii is nice for temperature but the cost of living is too much.

Personally, I'll stay where I am even though it get's hot during the summer and despite being a Tech town... it gets hammered during times like this.

I grew up in NJ and left quickly......paradise is great if you can find a way to make a good living.....In this economy i suggest you look for your dream job and save and invest to retire young in paradise! You must be young enough to travel and discover where that might be.....I loved Ithaca NY but found the area far too confining professionally.......I do like CT...much more laid back and scenic than NJ.....Texas is OK to visit.( if you like guns and the heat anyway)

SoCal..especially a few decades ago

I hate snow and humidity

Lake Tahoe, SLO, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Hawaii, Boca Raton...

My list goes on forever. I wanna stay in California or move to Florida. Those are the only states I would want to live in. Love the sun and beaches.

Lol... I've been here 32 years and have had very little exposure to guns.

That because you guys like your guns concealed:nilly: Dumbest laws I have ever seen! Who thought it would be a good idea to let guns into bars? I am waiting for the new law allowing Elementary and Middle school kids to carry!

Since you've been to Coos Bay you know how nice Oregon is, but here are a bunch of photos to remind you. :)
