Dream place to live?

yea I don't live as far south as either of you so I don't share the same issues. As for getting cold weather... where I am at last year we were down into the teen's for a few weeks and had a good few months of pretty cold weather (to FL standards). I actually don't find my location to be to bad, there is a nice breeze most of the time so it does not always feel so terrible out. When I lived in Orlando, it def. felt much hotter, I like living kinda close to the bay/coast area - a few degrees and even a light wind makes a huge difference. People are nice too. I think North FL would be a nice place to live. =] Its beautiful up there!

I do agree I have lived in Jupiter, had family in West Palm and been to Miami and I can't say I would move there. I feel the same way about it as well.

yea i'd say tampa and north is the place to be in florida, south of that really becomes unbareable for extended periods of time, other then maybe the keys, they're nice pretty much year round. living on the coast and having the constant breeze is the way to go. always 5-10* cooler then inland depending on the intensity of the breeze. yes it does get colder the further north in florida you are, but its still not like being in a northern state.
