zuccinni is supposedly better than cucumber as it doesnt pollute the tank water as much, but i've always been fine using cucumber. As for eating your plants, depends on your pleco species and how well fed he is etc. My gibby devoured a whole tank of plants, and suprisingly a silk one also. Hypostomus sp, for example will not damage plants if fed well, and GN's shouldnt touch them at all. Anyway heres the bogwood i "treated" earlier and put in the small tank. The GN loves it!!! :naughty:

Takashi is a genius and one of the greatest aquarium artists out there. I envy his work.

It is pure skill and knowledge! I wish I had 1/10 his skill at planted aquariums.

I doubt he has to clean that often. With those plants and the amazing water quality he must keep, I bet it is pratically maintenance free. (Actually I have mixed feelings about this, it could quite possibly be a huge pain lol)

how in the hell do you treat wood... and can you do it too any piece of wood?

my question is, how does he clean all those tanks, with that much water. lol. must be a hasle to do all that lol
My pleco tank, and my wife's tank are both heavily planted tanks, and they are practically maintenance free. The plec tank need poop sucked every week but that is about it.
