What kind of wood is it?
DRIFT wood.:D Seeing how I find it, I don't really know. They are all different types really. I'm not a wood expert, but I know some pieces are oak. None will harm fish, crustaceans, or plants. I make sure of it...

couple of those would look good in my tank....
Come get some. I'll pm you.

hey. nice collection of driftwood bro. I was wondering how you go by and collect- are you focusing on roots, stumps, branches?.. I live near central jersey(mercer) and tried a couple rivers and lakes around the area but I never end up with a piece thats not rotting too much or too soft. any advice is welcome.. good luck on your sales.

I look for everything. It is important to be very selective. Look hard and you should find some. The D&R canal has nice driftwood, and it usually isn't rotting but is a pain to get. I'm muddy and soaked when I leave...but I enjoy it.:)
PM me with more questions...
