i've never done it with salt? isn't that just a waste of salt. just do what i say...i know best lol

Salts are dirt cheap anyway,,,better safe than sorry.

ok well what type of salt am i looking for? how much do i use? and the pieces are in a big garbage can right now submerged and boiling is not an option.
