Drip system update

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
if you could use a diluted solution to drip at a slow rate I dont see why it wouldnt work. Maybe even work out a system that will mix before the drip emitter, so it breaks the chloramine while it's in the line.

How about a siphon system or pitot tube (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitot_tube) inserted into return water lineline to draw (by vacuum) a dilute solution of dechlorinator/distilled water from a vented or collapsible (like an IV bag) reservoir, and adjust the drip rate.

Dr Joe

PS If you have access, the Pitot tube could be an IV needle inserted into the return line at a diagonal.

Post some pics when you do get it up and running Levi

I wont, we dont have chloramine.
I suppose I could just for giggles and grins, but if I do it will be a while.
Let me know if you're going to give it a shot.....I'll help you out.
