DROID X vs. I-PHONE 4gs

out of contract already?!?!?! you get a 1yr contract? what's the price difference for that?

No 2 years ago I had another phone. When that phone died a year ago assurion verizons insurance company accidently sent me the droid one. I never questioned it and my contract never changed so my 2 yr contract is up in dec. And crazy thing is whenever I call verizon they have me listed as having a droid and able to upgrade in Dec lmao

i got the droid x from day one of it comming out n that phone is crack. it is literally the all time phone. the iphone is great to but having verizon thats the best u can get n the best phone they make now.

I can't understand spending this much on cell phone service. a camera on a phone is nice, but it's a friggin' phone that is only good for a year max before it implodes or is useless anymore and you need to buy a new one.

my mom can't even get reception w/ her AT&T phone at her house and I can make/receive calls in the basement. I was so glad to get rid of AT&T years ago.

I have an evo 4g, and love it! Only problem is the battery life(which is drained quicker because the phone is so entertaining).

I think I would choose the droid incredible over the droid x. Imo the droid x is a cheap mimic of the evo. I don't see how anyone can say that android is a crappy OS? Imo it is the best and smartest phone OS around!

I unfortunately have ATT, but have an android. The HTC aria is awesome for being half the processor of the iphone 4. 90% of the time the aria will beat the families iphone's including the iphone 4, 3gs, and 3g on internet page loading and connection to 3g. I can't wait till apple doesn't have att by the balls and they start releasing some awesome androids.

Soon apple users will understand how stupid they are to pay 600$ more for a camera thats already been done on 6 different phones, and already been outdated by 3 years....

yeah im not really a fancy phone person. only reason why i got the iphone 4 was cuz my old phone was messing up and i got an awesome deal on the iphone 4...would never spend 600 for an phone.

I currently own a droid 2, and it is a good machine. But I still carry my ipod touch with me, and I prefer the mac interface. The sound quality is superior on my ipod touch as well. When the iphone comes to verizon, I will likely switch. Id like to know how the speakerphone works on the iphone, because thats the one thing I really like about the droid 2. Oh, and there are a lot more crappy apps in the droid marketplace imho.

I have an iphone 3gs which was a HUGE upgrade over my blackberry. I am not a fan of the AT&T service, and if the iphone goes to Verizon, I'll gladly pay for 2 services while I wait out my contract with AT&T.

Does the droid offer the backbone of services (app store, itunes, etc) that I get with the iphone? For instance, the blackberry i had before offered it, but it was AWFUL. navigation was clunky and terrible, the screen was bad, the apps were archaic and there was nothing to really do other than wish I had something different. When I got the chance, I went to an iphone, and I've been pretty happy with the phone itself, but the dropped calls are annoying as can be.

So, fan of the phone, not a fan of the service it's on. I do love my plants vs zombies app

Summer 2009 I was in awe of my daughter's and S-N-L's iphones and all the apps they had. We spend a lot of time at a lake in the summer. When I could not stand not having internet access at our summer camp, I drove 15 min. to town to the library to use my lap top. This summer, it was a different story. No ATT where we live, so couldn't get an iphone. Love my Incredible--it's very entertaining. Our camp is remote enough, that we had to drive about 3 miles to make phone calls when we had US Cellular, so be able to get on MFK, facebook right from our camp was really "incredible". Got to say to my S-N-L, "Sorry you can't get online. You don't have to drive to town to check your email. Here, you can use my Incredible."
